Bands & Entertainment

Hello Kelly:

It’s been a long road for Hello Kelly since their humble beginnings in the summer of 2004, playing for pizza and a place to stay. Often dubbed “the hardest working band in Ontario”, Hello Kelly had soon shared the stage with Christian music favourites Thousand Foot Krutch, Starfield, Superchick and Hawk Nelson and seen success with three #1 CHR singles on Canadian Christian radio. Now, having signed with 7 Spin Music, Hello Kelly is gearing up to melt faces everywhere with their first full-length release, titled “Hello Kelly”, produced by new comer Adam Smith. Lead vocalist and songwriter Francy explains, “We really wanted to go the self-titled route because there was no better name than ‘Hello Kelly’ for a record full of songs written to encourage, empower and challenge Kelly.” So wait … Who’s Kelly?

  • Kelly is the reason Hello Kelly is on the road. Kelly is anybody who listens.
  • Kelly is that listener who doesn’t know who he is. Hello Kelly exists to encourage Kelly to build his own dreams.
  • Kelly is that listener who doesn’t know what she believes. Hello Kelly exists to challenge Kelly to define her own beliefs.

There’s a reason these guys still love running their own merch table and there’s a reason these guys are usually the last ones out of the venue. There’s even a reason these guys still find themselves sleeping in their van and eating peanut butter sandwiches some nights. It’s all for Kelly.

Hello Kelly: Rock and roll has a first name

To Tell:

Can you remember the last time you were blown away by a performance? Can you remember a time when the goal of a band was to entertain and to make the audience laugh and have fun? Can you remember when music was about remarkable skill and catchy lyrics? Allow us to introduce you to To Tell. To Tell is the musical journey of the young talent Zach Havens as his striking music and live shows send tremors through airwaves and speakers everywhere. His recently released debut EP entitled “The sun is up and so am I,” is sure to keep toes tapping and hearts soaring through 5 skillfully crafted, energetic songs. Classically trained as a pianist, Zach has taken the great accomplishments and awards that he has experienced throughout his teens and focused towards bringing something never heard before in the music industry. His music, played on numerous radio stations throughout North America and Australia, has been inspired by several years of playing in bands, and continues to push the envelope of his own unique sound. By combining his irresistibly danceable songs with his virtuosic piano ability, To Tell is all about having fun and making a difference to those who hear his music.

Blissed:

Rock and Roll, pure and simple, big and loud, that is Blissed!

They have toured North America coast to coast, from North to South, toured Europe, toured with great acts like Skillet and Disciple. Shared the stage with Thousand Foot Krutch and The Showdown.  Blissed has become a regular at superfestivals like Cornerstone and Ichthus and because of that have been called one of the hardest working bands in the business by Doug VanPelt of HM Magazine.  Blissed is currently on tour in support of the upcoming release “End Of The World”.  The concert is a world class dirty rock show and the songs are cutting edge hard rock.  Check out Blissed latest music video for the single “Justice” at www.youtube.com/blissedrocks . www.myspace.com/blissedrocks
